”Institutional investors and brokers” are the reason AGY have been in free fall of late. If you looked at the course of sales each day you will have seen multiple dumps of 1,000,000, 800,0000 and 460,000 odd sells. That is a large institution that’s made a decision to get out so they dump with no regard for the stock. It a risk you have with any individual holding a large sum of shares.
You are also somewhat incorrect about possibility for equity raising in a high demand or forecast high demand short supply market. Project valuation is used over market cap often because share prices can vary so wildly in the time between announcement of a potential deal and the date of the deal itself (based on short term vwap) both in a negative or positive sense.
You have demonstrated a very negative mindset and glass is half empty perspective. This is exactly the misinformation that I referred to in an earlier post.
