CAPITALISING ON THE FLEXIBILITY OF CDC​

CDC has very flexible capability to maintain segregation between different milk types and to process relatively small runs of the different milk types into a variety of products and brands of the same product - such as fresh milk, yoghurt, butter, cream.
This flexibility represents a significant benefit and differentiates the Group from the major processors in the industry

I believe this is our double edged sword..............generally speaking this is very positive but the negative I see here relates to volume. Small runs are OK with small down-time for cleaning out etc but when volumes increase substantially so will down time increase during the change over process and requirements. I do envisage growth in this area but can only see that if management decide to buy out the whole CDC complex and we have heard nothing like that ever mentioned.................maybe that is what I was dreaming last night after being coaxed into drinking my milk with Port by Cosair
