If these guys dragged the Aboriginal guy of the street and tied a noose around his neck then yes the sentence would have been to light and they may have had something the whine about.
And regardless of the circumstances the 2 guys clearly went to far other wise they would not have been found guilty. But they probably would not have committed the crime either if the kid was not unlawfully on their property.
2 wrongs do not make a right but the point is there are TWO wrongs here something those whining about the sentence appear to not appreciate or accept.
