If the planets align like that we'll all be able to afford a holiday on Mars.
My own opinion is that BHP got lucky in not buying RIO because the authorities (somewhere in the world, prob EU) wouldn't allow it.
(IMHO) As much as they/and we, wish they were in the race they're barred from participating. (of course this is not public info it's what costs millions for one set of lawyers to tell another set of lawyers "in confidence")
The Chinese will have their way.
It'll be business as usual on the EXT register.
