Not sure on the wash sale rules in AUS ..I sold my AHQ for a 40%+ loss on Friday 6.4c ... I'm not stressed as I'm a NZ TAX paying trader ... got all my rights and purchased more on the ASX ... and few AHQ shares 5.6c just to get to a round 1.3mill SH come early NOV get my 650k opts to boot ..
Yes those rights if its the same as my broker ANZ ..you just need the funds in your call account come the 24th OCT or else they will expire worthless they should contact you prior to end date... you can sell them at present get maybe .02 -.03c at present but I would think they could well go higher closer to the end of trade 17th OCT esp if AHQ drop positive update this week>>

what the buyers of the rights @ .02c are basically buying AHQ for 5.2c(when they pay the other 5c on the 24th) .... I see AHQ is trading at 6c ...so good discount at present
