There is absolutely no guarantee on return of AHUG capital in September, 2009. If you believe it is a rock solid guarantee, you also believe in the tooth fairy. I have spoken with a fund manager who has both AHUG and AFGHA and he is quite clear that there are no guarantees with either. The only advantage AFGHA has is that it takes preference over AFG holders in the case of liquidation.
AHUG holders' fate is in the hands of the All Leasing business, nothing to do with AFG's normal business model.
