Stockdr - Thanks for the posting on AHUG.
I have been wading through the original prospectus for AHUG.
On Maturity they have the option to convert to $105 worth of AHU (or is that AHI)? But AHU does not seem to be traded - can you help me work out what is likely to happen on maturity?
Also if Allleasing is sold prior to maturity that seems to create a right, but not an obligation, to redeem AHUG.
You say:
"AFG have also guaranteed the AHUGs until 30 September 2009 (ie after maturity date).
However it is most likely Allco will sell the Alleasing business beforehand anyway."
Where is the announcement that AFG have guaranteed AHUG - I havent been able to find it?
