Meerkat please remember gennocea' herpes vaccinnefolloeing simalar early trials had millions poured into it including the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation support because curing herpes is one very big deal on the global stage. Gennocea only had a prophylactic vaccinne. In this case we are looking for t cell responses that may set the stage for both a thereaputic as well as prophylactic vaccinne.
Your post just mainly whitewashing it in the category of a safety trial is accordingly drawing justified critical responses.
Im sure the same prof who delivered the world gardasil deserves more respect for his latest phase 1 trial of a revolutionary vaccinne if it shows the kind of results we hope for.
