Hey lex, never traded Ahz till just the other week, was remiss in not doing so as I could have made some great money. Let my emotion of belief that this was a super dooper story, it is but has not been realised for one reason or another. Also the fear of selling and then watching it go up and thinking you have missed out!
Averaged up over the years which I thought was more pragmatic than averaging down, (on a side note this has been a good strategy, averaging up, with Emc) so I have a wry grin when I have read posts saying how, in the past, what a good buy Ahz is ..... From $1.80 down!
Sold my personal and super shares, made money on the spike, not quite the 50 cents, and bought back in. Was a relief to have broken my emotional attachment to a bl...dy share, save your emotions for loved ones instead! My sentiment has gone from buy to hold to none, that is how indifferent I feel towards this companies history, especially with their granting of 33 cent shares after running the company down to then reward themselves. A higher benchmark would have helped dispel some of its past 'stigma' and shown true confidence in their future and an acknowledgement to the loss of shv of its loyal investors.
Sentiment will change if this companies forecasts come to fruition for once, a pharma deal will be a 'rainmaker' and become a strong BUY, then the dilemma of when to sell and lock in profits .... Lol
