I work in the private hospital sector (now) but ran medical centres (GP centres) for 5 years prior.
I have shown RAP to several respiratory physicians (who manage chronic respiratory disorders) and GPs - all of whom laugh...
Most episodic respiratory failure (ie: baby going blue, uncontrollable cough, etc) sees people rush to the ED. Do you really think they will just pull out an app to confirm the inevitable?
The only long-term play I can see for RAP is for it to be a stand-along piece of tech, that a GP keeps on their table and uses as a diagnostic tool - just like how they check your blood pressure, etc. But even RAP only about as good as a GP already (+/- 5%) so why would they buy it?
