He was in 2008 but don't know if that has been changed.
But it is understandable, he was appointed MD not long ago and wanted to impress the borad and the shareholders, so acting tough in the boom time to get better deal for BRM. right or wrong is everone's own judgement.
Have to say if you can't deliver in the boom time, it will be harder to do it in the doom.
