Haha, I could barely read that AI, but the whole premise for the valuation 'hope' for Disc is based on EPP being a $594 Million market last year in that article. I assume this is USD so the EPP market is suddenly about $1 Billion AUD which is great for Clinuvel as they monopolise this market and have the only FDA approved drug which is proven to work with about 95% patient retention and proven safety. Go Clinuvel you should be re-rated just on that market size information because everyone is pricing CUV on a much smaller EPP market (and most not pricing blockbuster Vitiligo or anything else much at all IMO).
I found this article below written also about Disc... where there has also been a serious amount of insider selling going on in recent weeks and months. Disc burning through about $1 Million every two days compared to Clinuvel generating $1 Million profit per week. And while growing profits Clinuvel to complete and give results on an absolute blockbuster phase 3 trial next year with the same EPP drug which already has FDA approval which is something I have never heard of any small/tiny Biotech doing? Disc will never compete in this mega market while they are just hoping to get into small EPP based on a phase 2 that failed on time in sunlight endpoint? And amazingly Disc are valued about 5 times more than Clinuvel?? This is a bloody interesting paradox when you look at risk/reward, great to watch.
