There were a few posts recently about the effect that AI could make on business
eg if business adopt it as an unproven new fad what is the possibility that the business may go belly up so is the adoption of AI a message to discard or not buy shares in that company ?
We have seen the adoption of the Covid story in the 2020 period which is now rapidly unraveling
Likewise the CO2/ green campaign which is also now coming apart at the seams
Will the AI frenzy go the same way
We are all having some experience of phoning companies and at the end of the phone is a computer and if you ask for a person with authority to fix things there is no response
As with many things new there are wonderful advantages with AI BUT 100% adoption IMHO will be a disaster
As a guess AI at the moment is IMHO capable of the knowledge, intelligence of a four y/o child, so giving it grown up jobs will result in losses of business
What do you do when you have to enter details on a web page and it does not like the answers you give, there is no person to explain the problem to so, maybe we will have to go back to what we did 50 years ago Go to small local business which still have a presence, still have people and just boycott the big operations which no longer have people
But be careful of companies which adopt AI without due care
As buying shares in those backward businesses maybe a disaster
