The company would have access to everyone's contact details through the share registry.
I'm cautious of suspect emails myself, but once I checked the website last week, I knew it was legit.
Anyone with an IQ above 60 would have called the company to confirm the legitimacy of the email & didn't have to come onto a public forum claiming it was a scam or the company was hacked. It's clearly clowns with an agenda.
