Brotherhood sabotage scheme intersects with the Riyadh Agreement outputs

Aden - Media sources close to the Yemeni Southern Transitional Council revealed, on Wednesday, that the council informed the leadership of the Arab coalition of suspending participation in the committees concerned with implementing the Riyadh agreement, in protest against the escalation carried out by the Yemeni brothers in the Shabwa and Abyan governorates.

A spokesman for the transitional council told Reuters that the negotiating team of the council withdrew from the joint committees working on implementing the Riyadh agreement.

Hoda and Al-Aram regions in Shabwa governorate witnessed violent confrontations between tribesmen and security forces affiliated with the Islah party after the arrival of a security campaign in those areas, in the context of an escalating military and security brotherhood in the governorate targeting the besieging of the Southern Transitional Council and the incursion into its popular areas.

Aidarous al-Zubaidi: The survival of the Muslim Brotherhood's reform militia in Shabwa will not be long

A statement issued by the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, Shabwa, considered the security campaigns "a continuation of the policies of systematic repression and humiliation that the Brotherhood and its criminal militias have perpetrated against the Shabwa people since they invaded and controlled the province last August."

The statement described the Brotherhood's directing of a military campaign to the areas of Qamosh in Habban district as pushing the situation "to a dangerous level of tension and congestion."

The statement said, "All the provocations made by these military formations of the legitimate authorities within the province and hostile actions against the safe citizens in their villages are frequent violations that do not express, in their entirety, any minimal commitment or commitment to the contents of the Riyadh Agreement and the requirements of its implementation."

In a meeting with one of the tribal elders in Shabwa governorate, the president of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, reiterated the transitional's refusal to keep Shabwa under the control of the Brotherhood, stressing, according to what was reported by media outlets affiliated with the Council, that “the survival of these militias in Shabwa will not be long and its children will return from members of the elite forces To take charge of their province, secure it and complete its purification from the hotbeds of terrorism and extremism. ”

The military escalation witnessed by Shabwa between the Transitional Council and the security forces affiliated with the Brotherhood comes days after armed Brotherhood groups surrounded the Arab coalition camp in Al-Alam.

Private sources told “Al-Arab” that the Brotherhood had already taken its decision to push the situation to the brink of a comprehensive confrontation in Shabwa governorate in order to tighten control over it, by invading the tribal areas that are a popular incubator for the transitional, and contacting the coalition forces all the way to the coastal areas that the sources confirmed as the goal Next to the Brotherhood, which intends to transfer tension to the Balhaf region, which includes a camp for the Arab alliance and a facility to export liquefied gas.

Political sources considered that the timing of the escalation that coincides with the Saudi-led Arab coalition's lifting of the pace of implementation of the Riyadh agreement is part of a predetermined scenario to empty the agreement from its content, especially in the security and military part that provides for the withdrawal of the forces coming from outside the Shabwa and Abyan provinces and handing over the security department in those governorates For elite forces.

And revealed the "Arabs" in previous reports on the agendas of the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen, which seeks to build an economic zone in oil-and-gas-rich provinces and open the Shabwa ports to receive support from Turkey, which has begun prominent leaders in legitimacy and the Yemeni Brotherhood openly calling for its interference in the Yemeni file.

The Brotherhood escalation in Shabwa coincides with another escalation in Taiz Governorate that came from Major General Khaled Fadel, leader of the Taiz axis loyal to the Brotherhood and Qatar, which threatened to engage in a confrontation with the joint resistance forces in the western coast to retrieve the coastal districts that liberated them from the Houthi militias.

Activists and media activists from the Islah Party launched a media campaign against the joint resistance forces, and Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, specifically against the background of appointing a leader from the Congress Party as director of the coastal district of Al-Mokha, which the Brotherhood seeks to control.

There have been increasing indications in recent times of the presence of Houthi-brothers military and logistical coordination in Taiz Governorate, by facilitating the smuggling of weapons to the Houthis by the Houthis on the Taiz fronts with the Joint Resistance Forces, and the exchange of attacks on sites belonging to the Abu Abbas Brigades and the 35 armored brigade that do not owe allegiance to the Brotherhood.
