I not convinced that such an event is inevitable, especially when it is being promoted on this site by those with an anti- American stance.
Probably the same people who promoted the end of American hegemony following the last world Financial Crisis, or pushed the line tha the emergence of Japan as a financial powerhouse would soon overtake the USA.
I doubt that any of these naysayers ever predicted the phenomenal rise of American companies such as Microsoft, Google, Dell, Compaq etc.
Take a trip to Silicon Valley and open your blinkered eyes.
