re: aim resources moves up scale.sinbin I guess one can only go by whats said in the official annmnts and his comments leave the timing of actual concentrate production within the year very open to interpretation.
Pertinent extracts below
--------------------------------------------------
ASX-listed AIM Resources Limited expects to slash by up to 12 months, the expected
start-up time and move to full production for its flagship Perkoa zinc project in Africa.
The 500,000 tonne per annum zinc mine - in the Sanguie Province of Burkina Faso,
120 kilometres west of the capital, Ouagadougou - is now expected to commence
mining mid next year.
"We were aiming for a 2008 start but this decision will allow that to be brought
forward by a minimum six months but nearer 12 months on Perkoa."
---------------------------------------------------
I assume the comment
"is now expected to commence mining mid next year."
means they will be starting to pull the contracted head grade out then.
Question of just when the processing plant will produce the first lot of transportable concentrate is dependant on just when they get the plant finished and commissioned. This would have to take a minimum 10 months if not longer.
