re: aim small holder VTI will not transfer the shares.
i have been told by VTI that certificates will be issued.
You can sell them through an aussie broker , but takes about 10 days to get the cashola. If the shares are held on CREST then T+3 applies.
shunting the stock yourself will take 6 weeks , so best to do it through a broker if you have a few.
and the smaller holders i refer to are less than 20,000
