I wonder about the medico-legal liabilities of products like the Ainsoff Deterioration Index and Rippledown in general.
The Wall Street Journal today had an interesting article on the liabilities of practitioners following the AI rules, and the "catch-22" they find themselves in if they blindly follow the AI advice or decide to deviate from it.
The use of AI in hospitals is creating tension between the nurses and the machines. “The computer doesn’t know the patient is in out-of-control pain.”
