Traded AIO before and posted before, but does not matter. Put it this way. There would not be any "growing up" comments mentioned if AIO was trading at $1.90 today.
Nothing against you, but that comment was driven by share price movement and sentiment.
What proper announcement are you talking about? AIO's announcement could not be clearer. They mentioned interested parties are doing due dilligence at the moment and they are expecting an outcome by the end of this FY.
The only other factor I can think of is for AIO to suspend from quotation until the outcome is known. They could have done it a few weeks ago. Maybe that was the best outcome. who knows?
