@bruceyg; I'm encouraged that with the rise of genuinely independent and highly skilled media organisations including the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists [ICIJ] that it's still possible to access accurate news that's being censored by our mainstream media.
Although our government took a big stick to Chinese social media companies it's allowed American ones to run amok, with reports that AI was able to transfer Taylor Swift's head onto a naked female body. IMO AI-driven social media has the potential to incite terrorism.
Reports of Jewish protests inside Israel and in NYC such as those in my OP on this thread have been almost completely censored throughout Australia, without any explanation as to why.
Add to that the number of journalists, their families and friends already killed in Gaza since the Hamas atrocity of October 7th, 2023 and the task of preventing social democracies including the USA and Australian from heading the way of 1930s Germany is becoming evermore challenging.
