I remember some strange anomalies there Banjar.
The c ockpit voice recorder had reportedly been turned off, followed by the flight data recorder about 6 minutes later, all before the crash. This could have been caused by a power failure as neither black box had battery backup (strange setup). Yet the Kiwi co-pilot reportedly made a radio transmission after these black boxes failed, indicating electrical power was present and the devices had been manually disabled.
Then you look at strange circumstances in the personal life of the Captain..........
The death by suicide theory had some merits over the possibillity of mechanical failure.
The Indonesians were reportedly not very cooperative with the investigation at the time.
