I rang the ASZ head office to enquire when their interim results will be announced. phone was answered by lass with very ditzy voice. i asked re date and she replied 'the 28th i think.' I said for her to check it. She came back and said '25th.' I said she shouldn't just guess re important info like this. She just laughed and couldn't see any problem. i then asked her: what is the vibe/atmosphere like in the office? She had no idea what i meant and had to explain my query. She replied.... 'well it's like it always is.' I asked: well what is 'always like' ? She replied: 'Normal of course.'
Silly me for expecting more from a IT company HQ. the receptionist is the first point of contact. Not what i expected from what appears (on results) to be a good company. But talk about dumb!
