Air NZ shares in trading halt

Shares in Air New Zealand have been placed in a trading halt.
Air NZ requested its shares be placed on the halt ahead of a High Court announcement on the airline's proposed tie-up with Qantas.
Air NZ and Qantas had appealed a Commerce Commission decision that blocked their proposed alliance.
The court's decision is expected between 1pm and 2pm today.
Air NZ shares last traded at $1.85 on Friday.
