Its Airbus stating they have put a proposal in the ESA is a statement by them acknowledging akida is good enough for them.
they have worked with it for 7 years as you say and I'm sure they have spent $$ towards its development to the extent they have put in a proposal.
why would you expect them to sign an IP deal until there is an end user its smart business on Airbus Part.
If anything this is one bit of positive information that after 7 years they have not found flaws to walk away. The time spent shows that they are progressing.
Yeah we all want to see the Revenue agreed but if this they win then I'm sure there will be a comercial deal. Nobody wants to invest capital unless you have a buyer for what your selling.
