I once managed to get to fly on a corporate jet. The pilot said feel free to use your mobile phone. It made no difference to "Navigation systems". He said the main reason commercial airlines did not let you use them for voice was that world war 3 would break out on board, with non-users getting pi***d off with the noise. He may have been right!!
