I think these types of events would be a HUGE publicity boon for DigitalX if they were to let people use their App for free to transfer money during these times of natural disasters/crisis. I may be wrong but I don't ever recall Western Union or Moneygram offering free transfers before.

I'd be more than willing to take a million+ from a capital raising and donate that (courtesy of AirPocket) to a country that's recently had a natural disaster. Would be good for PR.

Interestingly, I heard a radio documentary a few nights ago about "Direct Aid" -- and Mpesa was the tool being used to transfer funds via mobile apps. The documentary was a huge plug for Mpesa and yet again I was left thinking, if DCC don't show their wares to the market soon they will find it harder and harder to get market share off the "new incumbents" when they do launch.
