from this report, it seems like the following.

1. i use airpocket to find a broker in my city, i go to that broker and hand him cash, he gives me aircode in return
2. broker sends money to broker in destination country (how he does this is not disclosed)
3. receiver goes to destination broker, exchanges code for cash.

this seems highly speculative to me now, as brokers seem to still have to transfer the money themselves? maybe possible if you have bank accounts and liquidity and staff in multiple countries. feel like the original announcement is simply ramped off the name dropping of uber and airbnb
