There's a few websites that specialise in app analytics. I pulled down some ranking information about Airsonea from AppAnnie. It basically shows that of the 17,000 some 'medical' apps available in Australia, Airsonea ranked about 200 for the first month of release, and then fell to a steady 600th thereafter.

Of note, there was a peak early November of '38th' most downloaded medical device after an upgrade was released.

Interestingly, the AsthmaSense app did ok for a while back in June. It was the #1 most downloaded medical app in and 798th most downloaded app overall in America on that day. It was a few days after 1.1.1 came out - presumably correlated. Still, impressive. Interesting that their success has been in SE Asia and Eastern Europe.

It appears most of the market is iphone users. Maybe that makes sense if their target market is "soccer mums". But sales on Android have been underwhelming - between 50-100.

It's only a rough guide, and will be irrelevant in a few weeks when the quarterly comes out. But I thought it was interesting none the less.
