Recent action in MQG largely driven by expectations of MQG's imminent sale of AirTrunk. The transaction data room is now open and bids are expected this month, with valuations being pitched around $14-15b, against a carrying value for MQG of only $4b.
It will be a very exciting payday and given the drop off in the last dividend I could see a case where excess cash from the transaction is returned to shareholders via a special dividend.
