In relation to energy, most large companies with the available cash are now going down the route of constructing their own power supply at their mines. Firstly, it cuts out the middle man and is low cost. Secondly, if they choose a renewable method, they can claim themselves as a net-zero company, attracting green funds on the register as well as getting tax incentives from both State and Federal governments. The main issue will be plant and equipment costs rising, however with rising commodity costs it won't really be an issue.
