My NML holding is down 22.5%. At 1.45% of the portfolio I can live with it as it doesn't move the needle downward much. I have around 6 of them in the portfolio which are down 10% or more.. NML, 29M, PAN, ELD, APX and AAC. It happens. I'm pretty sure my FMG, BHP OZL, NST and EVN etc holdings were down similar or even larger between the commodities nadir in 2014-2015. Look at them now...
As for AIS. I really can't say that I own a fair amount of it compared to the rest of the portfolio... at 2.51% of the portfolio I have room the buy some more if its a compelling discount to fair value. Which it is at the moment for AIS, BHP, CBA and ALK... these 4 currently have low P/L% in the portfolio, well below historical average as I've topped up recently. Should be back to historical multi-bag P/L% when I free carry on the recent top-ups.
