The road the price takes to the FA valuation is never clear cut. The TA on this on the other hand have been spot on. Even on a strong up trend there will be moments of consolidation which at this price point can easily be 20%.

It is not for everyone and by no means everyone should do it. But for those that know what they are doing and know the SP movements like the back of their hand; it is a fun exercise on making a call or a put without having to buy any options. Personally I would rather have a shock absorber to my long holding on the way down. each to their own...

As I said in the past I'm running a marathon with AIS and not a sprint but it does not mean I won't sprint and use up some some reserves if it means I get better positioning from the pack... either way it is a race to build net worth before the fat lady sings.
