There are only 2 main competitors I know of:
- Balmoral Offshore (UK)
- CRP Subsea (owned by AIS)
Other competitors closed shop during the 2014-2020 downturn and never returned. It will be very difficult for new players to enter quickly because it will require a large capital outlay, ISO certifications, references, R&D, automation, partnerships, etc.
This is a good position to be in during a market up-cycle.
