Normandy originally identified the Aisasjur Prospect. Drilling completed on the prospect in 1997 produced some very interesting gold intersections including:
... 53m at 2.2 g/t Au and 143m at 0.3 g/t Au.
Just as significant in this work, however, was the discovery of porphyry intrusions of purportedly similar age and geochemical character to the igneous rock suite hosting the Grasberg copper-gold deposit.

The Aisasjur Prospect was highlighted as a potential deep copper-gold target by the Strategic Alliance in 2005 after re-evaluating the results of previous of exploration work undertaken in the same area by another company in the 1990?s. Their work identified shallow epithermal-style gold-arsenic mineralisation hosted by quartz-carbonate stockworks in metasedimentary rocks at Aisasjur. Early drilling produced significant gold intercepts including 32m at 4.2 g/t gold and 55 m at 2.1 g/t gold."
This gold has not gone anywhere and I posted that "imgaine IF ARX relaesed hits like this now" ....
The gold is all still there !!!! 2011 maybe huge !!!
ARC Exploration have a lot goingfor the company in 2011 !!
