You should go and spin your bear view to BNPL players and their 0 profit and declining consumer spending (especially when job seeker/keeper run out).
If you have a look at revenue by segment based on interim 2020 results $2.2bn out of 3b revenue comes from NZ, Aus and the Pacific islands. A return to domestic travel is a big first step with Aus/Pacific islands next in line. Based on revenue split I feel way safer with AIZ over Qantas returning to normality anytime soon. This plus cost reduction, outstanding cash resources, government loan and it being the main national carrier I dont see any major risk where we can't return to 30% off the high ($2).
