If any of you seriously believe that “analysis” like this explains why government polling shows that over one third of the UK population are opposed to fracking, whilst less than half that number support it, you will never really understand the reality. The next quarterly update is due on 9th May. Is anyone here expecting that fracking will have increased in popularity with the general public?
This is the same Claire Perry who is refusing to do the industry’s bidding by changing regulatory limits because they can’t work within those they helped to set and agreed themselves. Surely if she believed it was so safe she’d have absolutely no problem with doing so? As it is it’s her who seems to be refusing to listen isn’t it ? Funny that!
