SQM are playing a cut to kill strategy and the Chinese have orchestrated pricing to the aussie SC6 producers based off a China lithium price which is so undercooked it’s not funny. Outplayed by the Chinese. Altura produces a decent product but they’ve locked in pricing based off an index that is flooded with crap. Whatever cost saving they make this quarter is lost to price destruction and the Chinese will take this asset as the debt holders take charge..
