I know the exact example he speaks of I am not sure if the specifics on the same level as Oz however I would say there might be two critical differences
For any takeover to be fully completed on market eventually 90% approval will be needed. Management have more than 10% in their pocket and have already said they won't be taking low balls.
Secondly and possibly more importantly. ON have 19.99%. Who thinks they are going to let anyone muscle in on their territory and do a T/O? Not me.
So essentially they are the only company with a shot of taking us over. And a hostile one could turn things very sour. I don't think they need to take us over. They have a strategic asset and a partnership with management with some integration on the board. They have secured product and have an equity stake. I think best interests are aligned. But then I don't know China so could be well off base.
