36m+ shares changed hands on a day of very large volume. Yes the sp was down a bit but given the selling frenzy, it was better than it could have been.
Once people realise what this is they will come back but it may be too late. The big end of town may have looked at this and gotten on board. There are a lot of shares out there so shake-outs like this are bound to happen after a spectacular growth spurt.
From a quick view of the other players in the sector they all seem to have experienced larger than average volumes but none seems as large as Altura. I am not sure why that is.
I would rather avoid these sorts of days. Red numbers like that make my head hurt!!!!!
