What a load of nonsense.
It's not management's job to micromanage the share price. In fact, if they started doing that, it'd be the most obvious sell signal you'd ever get, because good management should be too busy growing the business to worry about what the SP is doing on a day to day basis.
The SP will always catch up in time if management are doing the right thing.
