Your quote of a 56% increase in the past two years surely stems from the selection of your data points?
This 56% gain is only in your case skewed by your perception.
You could also quite easily say that it has been a 100% gain for someone who bought two years ago for between 11-14c a share.
Its the sharemarket, them the breaks. It's just as much as a emotional game as it is a numbers game...
