Very reassuring to hear Ajm is producing at costs below usd250/t putting it ahead of Talison on the hr cost curve in Aus and globally it seems.
Sarcasm aside, I don't think its fair to lead potential new holders down the garden path with such unsubstantiated claims. I'm sure that was not your intention as you post some good stuff, but just putting it out there. Im not saying people should make investment decisions based on what they read here but it does impact their psychological bias and inevitably some do.
Truth is we dont know what the costs are of ajm let alone every other producer. We wont know until we see the quarterly and even then it wont be a reflection of where they should be untill nameplate is reached. Fixed costs should be at or near those achievable at nameplate. Variables will continue to come down with optimisation, redundencies will be stripped out once stable state is reached.
For the time being we can only guesstimate
