Soulstice, if you take today's algorithm trading it is someone selling small parcels of around 200 shares into 13.5c, this could in actual fact be someone divesting shares rather than accumulating as you have suggested.
My belief is that they have a motive to keep the share price below fair value, but it may be just divesting shares. The effect is insecurity for the average shareholder who may as a result react or not react to the truth. Regardless I do not believe that this sort of manipulation should be permitted.
