Most likely that Australian government will encourage joint venture partnerships, with perhaps Australian parties retaining 51% stake. I worked in Middle East for some time and I note over there government appointed locals could hold 51% of an interest in an operational entity. I see battery metals as a very strategic place, and it's likely that the Australian government will prevent any outright sales. the future will be co-owned mines with Australian parties having a controlling stake, to prevent strategic assets being sold off and righty so. Iron ore was the bread basket of Australia, battery metals will be the bread.
