With the estimated total global number of electrical cars to be produced by 2025 calculated at a conservative 50kg of lithium per car, it equals 712 million tons of lithium required to meet demand and that's just cars. There is also a projected 10,000 tons of lithium required to be produced EACH DAY globally just to meet the demand for lithium battery storage for the year 2025 which is estimated to reach 3750 GW hours according to research data, but I think it will be higher. The more I sit down to do the math the more convinced I am of buying into Li shares.
