You might find the case between PLS and MIN was more about MIN owning a Right of First Refusal over PLS offtake, not just about the royalty. PLS paid up to lose the handbrake on signing off take agreements with other parties, which they needed at the time to get the project off the ground. Altura doesn’t have the same problem nor does AGO have the same leverage.
