Hi Tritonboat,
On the 4th of April I sent off my money order from Brisbane ordinary post. I got them in my commsec account today - so ten days - very speedy. They wait until they have enough conversion orders to do a 3B. here are the rules:

Under the ASX Listing Rules, companies have up to 15 business days following the receipt of the option exercise in which to issue the shares.

This allows companies time for cheques to clear with the banks, and to allow for multiple option exercise to be batched together for processing by the share registry.
