129,570,920 options exercisable at 15c end of August(as reported in the last Appendix 3B).
If they were all to be exercised, that equates to a very large amount of extra stock available for sale.
It would be a given that some would seek to hold their stock, hoping for future gain. There would also be a large number wanting to make a quick profit.
Hence, unless the sp appreciates considerably prior to exercising, there might be only a small gain to be had.
Buyers of options would expect a discount, to factor in this risk.
The fact that AJM sp has not appreciated much recently might be an indication of buyers expecting a larger supply of stock coming in. Anyone wanting to buy larger quantities of heads will likely wait for this event at the end of August.
My opinion only and am waiting for more, already holding stock..no options.
