Sell side seems to have fallen away today so we could be in for a rise. Interesting to see the updated slide deck from December 21. I think people may only be just having a look at that now and seeing the slight shift - that is, there seems to be a greater emphasis on the Victorian prospects generally, probably because they can provide short term cash flow.
That was probably one of my concerns with AJQ. If they spend the $40mill this year, and don't find a short term cash source from resources, then they will hit the market again. I think the Victorian play mitigates this risk (assuming it comes off, but given the nearology to not only other resources, but to infrastructure, it does seem like a very smart play. There is going to be a lot of other activity in the north this year (CTP et al), and if they can free ride on that a little without blowing their cash on the north, that would be good.
